Florida Family Law Rule 12.285 requires both parties to exchange financial information including tax returns, pay stubs, bank statements, and a sworn Financial Affidavit within 45 days of service.
What happens if I don't provide disclosures?
Failure to provide mandatory disclosures can result in sanctions, attorney's fees against you, and the court may draw negative inferences from missing information.
What documents do I need to gather?
3 years of tax returns, recent pay stubs, 3 months of bank statements, retirement account statements, mortgage documents, vehicle titles, credit card statements, and any other financial documents.
