Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Resolute Divorce Law website ("Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Site.

No Attorney-Client Relationship

Use of this Site or contacting us through this Site does not create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship is only formed when you have signed a written engagement agreement with Resolute Divorce Law and we have accepted your case.

Informational Purposes Only

The information provided on this Site is for general informational purposes only and is not intended to be legal advice. The information on this Site may not reflect the most current legal developments and should not be relied upon without consulting with a qualified attorney.

No Guarantees

Every legal matter is different. We make no guarantees about the outcome of any legal matter. Past results do not guarantee future results. Any testimonials or case results described on this Site are not intended to be a guarantee, warranty, or prediction of the outcome of your legal matter.

Limited Scope Representation (Unbundled Services)

Resolute Divorce Law offers à la carte (unbundled) legal services. This means:

  • You may purchase individual services without retaining us for full representation
  • Each service has a defined scope described on its service page
  • We are responsible only for the specific service you purchase
  • Tasks outside the purchased service scope are your responsibility unless you purchase additional services
  • For services involving court appearances, we file a Notice of Limited Appearance

By purchasing an individual service, you acknowledge that our representation is limited to that specific service and that you are responsible for all other aspects of your legal matter.

Payment Terms

Payment for services is due at the time of purchase. We accept payment via credit card, debit card, and other methods available through our payment processor, Stripe.

Processing Fees

A payment processing fee (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction) is added to all purchases and shown as a separate line item at checkout. This fee covers credit card processing costs.

Additional Costs Not Included

Our service prices do not include third-party costs, which are your responsibility. These may include:

  • Court filing fees ($400-$410 depending on county)
  • Process server fees ($40-$100)
  • Notary fees ($10-$25 per signature)
  • Recording fees for deeds or other documents
  • Mediation fees (if using a separate mediator)
  • Parenting course fees
  • Other costs specific to your case
